Milana

Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress and comedian, as well as activist) is a comedian. She was born to Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as child actress after she moved to the United States. In AT&T television commercials she played the role as Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into until 2020. Apart from her commercial appearances, she was also a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and was a regular on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). After being cast in the unaired TV pilot for New Warriors, Vayntrub also is the voice of Squirrel Girl on Marvel Rising. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. At two years of age She and her parents relocated to the U.S. as refugees to escape antisemitism, settling in West Hollywood. When she was five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. In her sophomore year she dropped out and earned an GED. She went on, however, to obtain the Bachelor of Arts Communication degree from the University of California San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
