A result of this victory, Miss Georgia 1985 was entitled to enter her into the pageant. She also won the tournament on the 22nd of June 1985. Mohr was selected to represent Georgia and Georgia's state of Georgia for Miss America 1986's pageant that was held at Atlantic City New Jersey. However, she was not among the top 10 finalists for the national title.
