Emily Bett Rickards (born July 24 in 1992) is an actress from Canada. She has portrayed Felicity on The CW Television Series Arrow. Rickards was raised and born in British Columbia. She started her career in acting from a young age, studying musical theatre, dance and various forms of entertainment. She graduated from high school before the age of 18, and then attended Vancouver Film School, completing the Acting Essentials Course. She attended an audition at an open call following the completion of her course. This was the catalyst for her getting signed with an agent. Alida Vocal Studio taught her. The chemistry she shared between her and Stephen Amell, positive feedback from fans and the sarcastic comments she made led to an initial signing as a single-episode guest star.
