Morgan Fairchild is an American actor from the United States. The actress was born Patsy McClenny on February 3 50, 1950. She gained prominence between the late 1970s to the early 1980s when she appeared on numerous television shows that typically featured a glamourous look. Fairchild started her acting career between 1973 and 1977 during the run of CBS' Search for Tomorrow daytime soap as Jennifer Pace. In 1978 she appeared in the soap opera of the same name Dallas in the role of being the very first actor in history to play Jenna Wade before taking a part in the lead role of the NBC show Flamingo Road in 1980 (for which she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Television Series Drama). She co-starred with ABC in the short-lived soap Paper Dolls in 1984. In addition, she played Jordan Roberts in Falcon Crest from 1985 to 1986. Fairchild is also a performer in theatre and has played in TV comedies such as Murphy Brown, for which she won an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actor in Comedy Series. Fairchild is also an SAG-AFTRA Board Member.
